投稿規程 （Instructions for Authors）
1．総則（General Information）
Bulletin of Glaciological Research（BGR）は，公益社団法人日本雪氷学会（JSSI）が発行する，雪氷に関するあらゆる研究成果・調査報告を掲載する国際的・学際的英文査読誌である．BGRは1973年以来30か国に配布されてきた．2010年より完全オープンアクセス（online only）として刊行され，査読を通過した論文は受理後速やかにオンラインで公開される．
投稿原稿は以下のカテゴリーに区分される．
- Article：未発表の研究成果を含む原著論文．担当編集委員および少なくとも2名の査読者が査読する．
- Report：予備的成果や一般的関心を有する活動報告．担当編集委員および少なくとも1名の査読者が査読する．
- Review：既往研究の整理・分析および将来展望をまとめた総説．Articleと同様の査読を受ける．
2．査読プロセス（Reviewing Process）
- 原稿受領後，Editor-in-Chief（編集長）から著者に受領通知が送付される．
- 編集委員会にてスクリーニング審査（Scope，独創性，完結性，英語レベル，BGR方針との適合性）を行う．基準を満たさない原稿はこの段階で返却される．
- 編集担当者が査読者を選定し査読を実施する．
- 査読の結果，改訂が必要と判断された場合，原稿は著者に返送される．
- 改訂原稿は3か月以内に再投稿すること．期限を超える場合，投稿は撤回されたものとみなす．
- 最終的な採否はEditor-in-Chiefが決定する．
3．投稿方法（Submission Guideline）
投稿は，PDFまたはWordに所定の**投稿票（PDFまたはWord）**を添えて，電子メールにてBGR編集委員会へ送付する．郵送する場合は，CDなどの電子ファイルと印刷版の原稿を同封すること．
4．APC：Article Processing Charge（投稿料）
- BGRは完全オープンアクセス誌であり，採択された論文には刷り上がり1ページにつき5,500円のAPCを課す．
- 査読・編集・組版・オンライン公開などに必要な費用に充当される．
- 招待論文（invited papers），Editorial 等は編集委員会の判断でAPCが免除される場合がある．
- APCは受理後，公開前に請求される．
5．著作権・オープンアクセス・ライセンス（Copyright / Open Access / License）
- BGRはCreative Commons Attribution 4.0 International（CC BY 4.0）の下で公開される（※）．
- 著者は著作権を保持する．
- 採択後，著者は日本雪氷学会に対し，CC BY 4.0に基づく出版権を許諾する．
- CC BY 4.0により，第三者は出典を明示すれば，商用利用を含む利用・改変・共有が自由に可能．

※ 2026年以降に出版される論文については、CC BY 4.0の下で公開されます．2025年以前に出版された論文については、出版当時に適用されていた著作権およびライセンス条件に従うものとします．
6．プレプリント（Preprints）
- Jxiv，arXivなどの公認プレプリントサーバに投稿済みの原稿も投稿可能である．
- ただし，投稿時にプレプリント公開済みであることを申告すること．
- 採択後，著者はプレプリントの記録を更新し，BGR掲載版へのリンクを追加する．
7．原稿の構成・形式（Preparation of Manuscripts）
7-1. 本文構成
- 原稿はA4判・ダブルスペース・広い余白で作成する．
- 1ページ目にタイトル，著者名，所属，住所，郵便番号を記す．
- 可能な場合，日本語タイトルと著者名も併記する．提供がない場合，編集委員会が対応する．
- **Abstract（250語以内）**を本文冒頭に置く．
- **Keywords（5語以内）**をAbstractの直後に記載する．
- 英文の質は重要である．英語が基準に満たない場合は受理されないことがあるため，必要に応じて校閲を受けること．
- 原稿は明確で簡潔な構成とし，必要に応じて本文をセクションに分け1.，2.，…の番号を付ける．
- 数値はアラビア数字を用いる．
- 単位はSI単位系（例：m s⁻¹）に従う．
- 数式は印刷に適するよう整形し，独立した式には番号を付け，本文中では“Eq. (2)”のように参照する．
- 生物学的学名などはイタリック体を用いる．
7-2. 表（Tables）
- 表は別紙に作成し，Table 1，Table 2，…のように通し番号を付ける．
- 表題は表の上部に記す．
- サイズはBGRの版型 **（最大172×254 mm）**に合わせる．
7-3. 図・写真（Figures）
- 図・写真はFig. 1，Fig. 2，…のように通し番号を付ける．
- 1カラム（幅81 mm）または2カラム（幅172 mm）に収まるように作成する．
- Figure captionsは本文末尾にまとめて記載する．
- 写真は図と同様に扱い，番号付けする．
8．引用文献（References）
- 文献リストは本文末尾に置き，著者名のアルファベット順に並べる．
- 書式は最新のBGRの掲載論文に従う．
- 英語以外の文献には**英訳タイトルと言語表記（例：in Japanese）**を付す．
本文中での引用例：
- 二名： (Suzuki and Yamada, 1989)
- 三名以上： (Saito et al., 1983)
- 複数の文献： (Saito et al., 1987; Takahashi, 1985a)
- 同一著者の複数文献： (Watanabe, 1986, 1987a, 1987b)
9．最終原稿提出（Final Submission）
採択後の最終原稿提出時には以下を提出する：
- 投稿票（PDFまたはWord）
- 最終原稿（Word形式，図はPDFも可）
引用に著作権許諾が必要な場合は，著者が許諾を取得し，出典明記および謝辞への記載などを行う．
